There are still a large number of great police officers who were trained back in the day when there were real standards. Unfortunately so many incompetent ones are being hired each day now and are slowly bringing down the SAPS name.
Thank you to the few who truly fight for justice and who put their lives at risk to help others daily and not merely fill their own pockets via corruption.
I think we as citizens need to start actively fighting crime and corruption. Eblockwatch is a good start!

At last - sending a message out to criminals that SA Citizens have had enough - well done to SAPS and yes, shoot to kill - enough pussy-footing around. CRIME is NOT OK.

Right way SAPS.... Shoot and KILL the low life scum that have no respect for human life thanks for the new law to "shoot to kill", Pres. Zuma! ... All South Africans have had enough of poesy approach to the rights of criminals this is a very welcomed law! now we need to hang the fuckers crowding the prisons!!!

Police probe Fourways shooting
Police are combing the scene of a shootout in Fourways
One suspect was arrested after trying to escape from police in a stolen vehicle.
The police said they chased the car from the Buccleuch and cornered the suspects at the Fourways Crossing
The police chopper was called in for assistance and the chase continued until Fourways Crossing. Apparently shots were fired from the police chopper at the suspects vehicle; they then lost control and crashed,

This police copter was shooting robbers who were at the entrance to Builders Ware House at Fourways. The sound was working but it has stopped for some reason. After the shoot out the chopper landed and bagged their robbers.
