I saw this opera last Friday at the Metropolitan opera...It seems that the perform this great opera every 10 years...
The setting was the same...the actors were not the same...I think the only surviving actress from the 1999 performance is Danielle De Niese...but now she is playing the role of Susana instead of Barbarena...
Anyway,it was a great performance..I cried of rapture...Mozart makes me cry when I'm on the peak of my happiness....

Love how the conductor is having fun. Wonderful, wonderful opera this...I've seen it so many times and never tire of it. Mozart music marvellous. So complicated but once heard you never forget. He gets under your skin. i think Terfal and Bartolli are splendid...

hahaha he's actually having sooooo much fun with the music.
Bryn Terfel and Cecilia are AMAZING!!!!!! I love how they drag each other thru the floor.
