This clip shows a test of a modified swimming pool filter I use as a hydrostatic pressure chamber. This pressure chamber is used to test various systems for my ROV project.

  • Thanks! Not only more wraps of tape but grease as well. No more leaks.

  • thread is generally unreliable seal for parts working under pressure that require frequent pairing, teflon tape helps only if you seal it and leave alone. latch locks work better for such applications IMHO.

  • Great Idea using the pool filter for the pressure chamber. You've probably all ready figured out your leak but if not try putting a minimum of 5-6 wraps of Teflon tape on the plug end of your housing.
