it is tamil nadu breed of dogs,belongs to hound variety,,,,,a pack of 5 can able to kill a tiger....... used by our tamil kings during indian freedom struggle,they let this hound dogs in the stable of British force , they bite and torn achilles tendon of horse and make it useless for running , KANNI( means maiden , this were given as dowry from girl side ),sippiparai ,rajaplayam and kombai (equal to pit bull) more detail drkarnakishor@gmail.com, i am a vet doc from tamil nadu.........

@designvolta11 My dog is a rescue. A former street dog born on the streets of New Dehli and rescued... You can see him on Youtube here by looking up 'red paws rescue, puppy rex adoption' :D Breeders themselves might not want to export dogs as they already have such a small gene pool. but if you want similar dogs.. yes.. even pure white ones.. you can always get a rescue dog like im doing :D Hes ADORABLE!!

@Shokara2 wow! can you give me any specific information? Who are you buying the dog from? Every Indian breeder that I've contacted has said no to International purchases.

@designvolta11 You can import them yourself. We are bringing a dog here from India and its really NOT that hard. They have to be vaccinated and you pay for a ticket for them via cargo and that's it. No quarantine. Our dog is costing less than a purebred dog here from a breed would cost... and they are so rare here that believe me... people will notice them more than any other dog. LOL
