Same issue here. 1Gbit/s network. Lot of lag with 1080p file !! MBP C2D 2,66 4go RAM :( :( :(

You have to be running a Gigabit network to really support the load.

If you guys are having problems then I'm sorry. It works for me and the majority the first time. Check ur router configuration and make sure the firewall is not blocking the program. Sorry if I can't help... Didn't make the program.

if you get a movie to play flawless..just hit triangle button on controller and see how high the MB/S bitrate is..and then try the jerky ones..and see how high that is..then you will know how big files and how high bitrate you can play..but for me it works flawless man...i had some jerky problem in the first time i tried..but then i hit pause,..waited 5-10 sec..and then play..worked

i have my ps3 hooked with cable to my router because i don´t have wlan in my router..i have 4 lan ports..and it works flawless in 1080p..but it all depends on how good your modem/router is..my is 100mb/s..or 400mb/s don´t remember..but for really big 1080p movies over 15gb..it usually takes 5 seconds..and then FULL HD BABY!
