    The speaker has a broad range of knowledge, and he has synthesized ideas from different fields into digestible chunks. Hats off to the speaker.

  • Behaving rationally? There is survival value in irrational behavior, or it would have been weeded out already. What is its value? Think of the locked in phenomenon of anger/aggression. If I can make you believe that I am crazier than you, you will give up the claim on X. This is a point Steven Pinker has made. So it is perfectly rational to be irrational, eh?
