  • Yeah! There are vids here of people running across swimming pools of the stuff... I wonder if you could drive a kiddy pool of it and make life size fingers...

  • Cornstarch+water in a thick mixture does weird stuff when poked... or vibrated. Try it! Also, search around here more... there are quite a few videos of this effect.

  • Why specifcally corn starch and water? Aren't there other mixtures that react like this?

  • Not that I know of, though there probably are. You need a paste with "non-newtonian" behavior, basically, it gets stiffer the faster you push on it. Weird stuff!
