Zelda II - Shadow of Night Part 1

Ice Penguin made another Zelda II rom hack called Zelda II Shadow of Night. Since this is the first video, I'll provide a little description of this game.

"Long ago, a curse was cast upon the land of Hyrule. This darkness
gave rise to the minions of Ganon, allowing them to overrun Forests,
Towns, and Meadows.

Deep within the forest lives our young hero, Link. Guide Link across
the vast Kingdom of Hyrule, and defeat the ominous shadow!"

In this video, I head toward the first two towns, get the first spell, and make my way toward the first palace. I get the candle there and complete as much as I can of the palace. Yeah, there's more to the palace. There's a good amount of backtracking to do in this game! Anyway, enjoy!

Man, this is so cool. but I don' know what to do it play this. I have an NES emulater on my PC. Is it possible to show step by step on how to play..... for us less then savy ppl please? :)

@MultiItman The link to download the IPS patch is in the description. All you need is a Zelda II rom, and patch it using a program called Lunar IPS. That's all there is to it.

Oh god, Bots are immune to stun o_O. Now that's just evil. Also what's with Horsehead's mace? It has like twice the reach just like in Journey of a Day.

@scarface2181 I think there is a Zelda II editor, however it's a very primitive program. I think it can only work in DOS. Search "Zelda II Editor" on Google and you'll find it.
