Everyone should know that: not coming to Madeira, when the island needs it most, would be truthfully an unfair desertion. The real way for the visitors to express their solidarity and to help the Madeirian people would be that those who have already planned to visit, do not change their plans;
Today, due to a turmoil of communication and truth it is urgent to spread news that Madeira is perfectly safe, not only for all its inhabitants but also for the tourists who come to visit or will be visiting Madeira. The absence of this truth could cause a real economical disaster on an island that lives essentially of tourism.

This reports primary goal is to show you that the island hasnt been completely devasted as some media might have announced, in consequence of the flooding and mudslides that took place last Saturday, February 20th 2010. We will be flying over the island to discover together what Madeira looks like today, Sunday at 10.30 am, only one short week after the intemperies.
