@UnleashTehLava many people wear glasses or contacts, but glasses work much better in the field. It's personal choice what frames you wear but most people get something robust in a colour such as black that will take some abuse. On operation or in the field, you can get ballistic inserts to fit into your ballistic glasses. Obivously, in certain trades, such as pilot, you need to have perfect vision. Don't let it stop you from joining.

@RaguelAngelofBalance Not true, lots of people involved in different aspects of combat arms wear glasses. The difference is that some, only while deployed or during physical activity, wear the plastic prescription sports glasses.

@UnleashTehLava Depends on the trade. For combat arms you need GOOD vision without aids.

No results searching this channel for NDAA...gonna protect Canadians from this?
Deny the threat and be discredited to the max...no response probably, good move
Sorry for being off topic but I got some questions about wearing glasses in the military. Is there a certain frame you have to wear during training and/or on tour? Can wearing glasses restrict individuals from going into specific trades? Can you wear contacts? Thanks for answering my questions! Your videos are awesome.
