Title: TREES, LEAVES, STARS, TIME & ALL OF THIS
Sound track courtesy of the Civic Center's "Musak"!
Statement: Real trees and leaves provide sustenance, shade, and healing; and distant stars from times outside of our world fill our eyes, hearts, minds and souls. This "tree" is made with scraps from turning trees into lumber, the newspaper from wood pulp, and the printing ink from earth's minerals. Newspapers are a record of human time. I'll soon recycle these trees and stars and I'll save the slabwood to make another tree someday. The news from Roanoke, Wonju, Pskov, Florianopolis, Opole, Kisumu, Lijiang, and Saint-Lo will continue to flow across the leaves of time and fall from the tree of life and all this, and us, will someday join the stars.
