Beautiful animal to be sure, but I wouldn't want to get too close! Did you ever notice that tigers usually walk with their heads at about level with their backs, whereas domestic cats mostly have their heads lifted?

theres many. thers wolves and jackals and many mor but ther not as big as big cats thats all.

uhh, actually a great dane can only reach approximately 180 pounds where the tigers seen above can reach 575 pounds. the Siberian tiger, not seen above, can reach up to 900 pounds! It's the largest cat in the world, true king of the jungle. The point is there is a HUGE difference between the tiger and the dog. also, the great dane is sleek and slender, the tiger is mostly muscle

If there were they'd probably be heading for extinction now, just like our lovely felines. Ever seen a fully grown great dane? Almost as big as a tiger.
