Naaa. They don't. That idea was born because workers digging to build the brooklyn Bridge discovered layers of fossils. The ones at the bottom were smaller than those at the top. Evos liked that idea and adopted it for the GC, which only exists in a couple of locations in the world. The rest of the Earth does not conform to it. Polystyrate fossils prove it by themselves.

Saying that just because scientific heories are debunked makes proof that Christianity's God created the Universe is pure bullshit.

Scientific method works on a theory renewing it every time it fails to explain a phenomenon starting from the basic laws of the Universe. And UNLIKE faith, the scientific method welcomes all supporting evidence and looks for tangible proof to demonstrate its claims.
