The Hostal Regional has a fabulous location in the centre of Madrid near fantastic sites like the very central Puerta del Sol and others in this exciting city. You can wander around the centre and visit the best points of interest Madrid has to offer on foot: the Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, Plaza España, the Opera, Cibeles Plaza and the citys world class museums are all close by. From this area you can really explore the centre without the annoyance of taking metros and taxis after a late dinner or night out. Speaking of nightlife, you have plenty of options nearby, from "tapas" in the Plaza Santa Ana and all the great bars in that area to the chic restaurants and gay atmosphere of Chueca, to the young and bohemian Malasaña area. All this is just within a stones throw of this very central location! To get to other destinations, the hotel is conveniently close to the citys excellent public transport system: the Gran Via metro is just 50 metres away and buses to go all over the city are right from the Puerta del Sol.
The hostel has double and triple rooms (with one double and one supplementary bed). It is located on the fifth floor of building with a lift. The rooms share bathrooms and have a sink in the room for the convenience of the guests. They also have a TV, heating, fans and fresh linens and towels. Pets and smoking are allowed in this establishment. This is a no frills establishment but the rooms are well kept and very clean.
Stay in the centre of Madrid!
