My father and a man named Bob Dixon (both worked for GE) in the 70's (I think )they invented a DC to DC converer. He received a patent to set on the mantle GE made all the $. As a musician, have only ran into one person in my life who actually knew what he had done. Surely it is been obsolete for years, but was curious if anyone could fill me in as he never talked about it. I think it involved brushes?? Thanks
