Here's GP once again; this time giving you all a taste of what a sixties Rock n Roll band from the northeast neck of the woods sounded like back then. A young teenaged GP can be seen onstage at the very far right wearing a yellow and blue striped t-shirt playing all those lively guitar solos you hear on his Gibson SG. The two songs featured on the video are the only original songs this band offered amidst the cover material they played. Both songs were written by GP in his early songwriting stage.
The first tune's initials speak for themselves in many cases these days as far as the topic to this one goes... The other tune; well, who hasn't had a beef or two with their old lady every now and then, right? A harmless poke at the matter is about all this one's about.
This band was also one of the many bands GP has played and paid his own fair share amount of dues with during the years. Unfortunately, this is the only reasonably presentable content available from that specific era.
Many thanks go to all who have participated in making the elements of this video happen in one form or another. From The BM Band who relentlessly rocked their hearts out; to Ken L. who quite patiently and capably actually shot the film itself amidst the heavily partying chaos of an unfailingly attending regular friday night audience which without a doubt primarily played a key role in the element which fired up the band's performance energy level time after time; on down to the fellow who recorded the band's very first and only demo tape on reel to reel without very much in the way of equipment resources to work with at the time. Mind you, the source material from the video is originally from Super 8 film and multiple generation and format copies of the same audio recording; so please bear this in mind when referring to the overall quality of the video itself, despite the blessings of the digital manipulation involved.
GP also wishes to send out a specially heartfelt note of appreciation for the highly competent drummer who has tragically and untimely since passed away. May the good Lord forevermore bless him and his family.
In light of all those who knew and loved this band as a unit, if not on a personal level as individuals with their own accountable variety of feelings and attitudes...; here's one more chance for you to relive those free and happy times once more! So sit back, reminisce and enjoy those youthfully precious moments in time once again!! Let it Rock!!!! GP.
