In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth: 3 - Coheed & Cambria Cover (Guitar)

I will always remember the first time I heard a Coheed & Cambria song. It was right before I went to Mexico during the summer of 04. I remember going to a music store with some of my cousins and they were telling me about all their favorite bands. The whole time I was there I kept on thinking about this band that I needed to hear more of.

The first day I came back I went and picked up In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. Theyre what made me discover whole new genres of music and look outside of the box more. When I first started playing guitar I always wanted to be shredding and whipping out solos here and there. I remember being frustrated a lot because I couldnt play what I wanted to play. The first Co&Ca song I learned how to play was In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. I knew that the first time I played this song all the way through that I would be playing music for as long as I live.

Without Co&Ca I wouldnt be playing guitar, bass, keyboards or anything. I would probably still be listening to garbage music. For this I am eternally grateful.

NOTE:
I was playing along to the Neverender version which is tuned down a half step. Also the audio doesnt isnt in sync with the video...i dont know why

or you can go to Cobalt and Calcium...but their tabs are sometimes wrong

Nice man. I'm pretty much the same, Coheed inspired me to learn guitar. They also helped me through a rough patch a few months back.

I'm ashamed to admit I saw them live 2 years ago, but didn't really listen to them, they were opening for Linkin Park...

I saw them @ and Linkin Park concert 2! But i knew them and knew sum of there songs. I dnt play much of their stuff on guitar for reasons i dnt kno y. But they are indeed one of the greatest bands out there. Unfortunately i only saw them twice. First @ a LP concert and second and Starland Ballroom in New Jersey. Then i met the bassist (Mike) when he drove up in a van. idk y in a van which was pretty weird. So.... Coheed&Cambria FOREVER!!!
