I was there. That was a PACKED concert - and even though it was November in Phoenix - it was hotter than hell in there! GREAT concert! Been to 8 of theirs and that was their best one..... so far. :)
This is a really cool solo, and his best one on the album. I think even non-players can listen to this one and enjoy it.
There's a clip on the 'Tube, of Al playing with Alice Cooper back in the day. It's a 3-minute solo before the song "Poison." He plays really good there.
chris can play it with more accuracy. he can play every notes right, but in my opinion, no feelings at all. that tone matches perfectly for the song washington is next!, but that's it i think. and Al did NOT suck with marty's stuffs he has his own style and it sounds great for me at least :) i know he was not the best of all but i personally prefer Al than Chris. he's a beast though lol
Well I don't hate Al but what I like about Megadeth is that every guitarist has a different style. And plus that's what Chris feels that goes with the song not what you feel. Something good happens to Megadeth and they hate him, at 1st everyone was like "Glen sucks lalala, he can't play martys solos lalala" Now Chris can play everything and make some sick solos and people hate him. Something is wrong you people.
nononononono i never said i hate chris i said "he's a beast though" at the end of my comment lol it was just my personal opinion that i prefer Al than Chris.
