Attention free citizens of the world, peaceful protesters at the Del City Walmart were met with force. They mic checked Walmart showing support to the employees who were forced to work Thanksgiving evening into Friday. They highlighted the disparity of the employee's wages compared to Walmart CEO Mike Duke's 18 million yearly salary and Walmart's over 10 billion in corporate profits. The protesters were asked to leave and began to walk peaceably towards the store exit but were met with force. At the urging of Walmart management, the Del City police force arrested the peaceful protesters tackling several of them. Among those arrested were two filmmakers who were not actively participating but only filming the activity. Ten participants were charged with disorderly conduct. The use of unnecessary police force on peaceful and compliant activists is uncalled for and unconstitutional. Walmart, your denial of free speech is unacceptable and WE will not tolerate it. Plug the phones of this Walmart at (405) 670-1007. Send letters of your disapproval at 5401 Tinker Diagonal Street Oklahoma City, OK 73115. Urge the management to request the charges be dropped. Occupy your local Walmart. To the police force of Del City, this is a call to action to correct your mistake of unjustly detaining peaceful protesters. Drop the charges. WE are legion. WE will never forget. WE will never forgive. You should have expected US.

If you use your voice to inform people of corporate injustices you are a trespasser? I heard, AS protestors were leaving, an officer say, "Everybody stop!" I never heard anyone say you are under arrest or anything remotely close. No announcement of impending arrest? That is a major law enforcement infraction. Those are practices in training that are vital and taught to ALLofficers. The protestors here, and their camerperson, are all heroes! Shame Award goes to the Del City P.D.
