This app combines Geolocation and Accelerometer to produce a fun adrenaline based game where the iPad represents a bomb that is ticking down to explode. The user has to move the bomb 99 meters before the time goes down or risk it exploding in their face.
Too easy? Well the bomb is very temperamental and if you shake it too much, the meter goes up and if it hits the damage critical point, you will also lose as it explodes in your face.
This creates an interesting app which makes the user want to move fast, but have to keep the app very very still. The results can often be quite humorous, especially if the game is played in a public space.
"You will produce a minimum of three interaction experiments. Can you explore alternative interactions for to build a small experimental toy? How could these experiments feed in to a larger project?"
The apps needed to explore other sensors rather than just the basic touch element, and I explored the geolocation, microphone and accelerometer.
The games have been built in FlashBuilder for this uni project, and are not for any moneymaking purposes. All the music and sounds are freesource.
