@team555 The Germans didn't go down easy, like most of your generation thinks they were. They were NOT push overs. They had the best trained and equipped soldiers, tanks, and equipment than anybody in WWII. In Normandy alone some 50.000 Allies died. Please do not disrepect the brave Germans who fought and died for Germany, bot Hitler.

Your missing the point. It is easy for us all to call him a coward. He was a clerk and was not suited to combat. He had never seen it. He was stuck with the knowledge that he could have saved them for rest of his life I would think. It is easy to be a hero sitting in a chair watching this.
