An eerie scene along Lake Michigan as hundreds of drivers have to abandon their cars on Lake Shore Drive in the middle of a blizzard. All footage shot with a Canon 60D.

@luckymisselala The drivers lifted the wipers before they left their cars so that they wouldn't be frozen to their windshields when they returned to their cars after the blizzard.

@FastGreenFCF It wasnt that it was a surprise. Its that it happened so quickly and so much at once. It was at least 17 inches of snow at one time. I doubt that's a "typical" snowfall for Russia.
