I agree with your position Joshua, I was responding to RiskyShinigami's statement of making the assumption that we have the ultimate authority to determine true moral authority. Establishing moral absolutes among men is impossible, we essentially require a judge to determine that (i.e. God), whether we choose to have faith in his existence or not.

Not human being has the right to determine what is right and wrong. But, the God who made us, since He is the law giver, He can and does make a decision on what is right and what is wrong.

What is it exactly that gives you or anyone the authority to distinguish what is "wrong" in this world? Is it more comforting to know you are under the control of a "visible" dictatorship?

LOVE should be the primary reason that impels us to come to know God, not FEAR of going to Hell. GOD LOVES US SO MUCH.

Absolutely, God's love is amazing, but what magnifies the love of God is when we see how much we have sinned, and how much we deserve hell, yet He still loves us enough to provide Christ to save us if one would repent and trust in Him.
