Yes, Paul Gilbert is an amazing guitarist technically, but his music is fucking stupid and has the imagination of a twelve-year-old playing guitar hero.

Ben Weinman, on the other hand, pioneered one of the greatest genres of the decade, breaking pretty much every rule put in place by traditional music theory and opening up a whole new world of possibility for heavy music, and music in general.

@schellenberg1 thats not true...creativity exits in a self basis. like its not about who does what. because im sure Weinman cant play the curse of castles dragon because thats not the world he lives in. and gilbert cant play any dillinger for the same reason. but they could both figure it out. stop hating on ppl and just appreciate good music...and that they are not Nickleback
