Occupy Providence - An Afghan War Veteran explains why he joined the Occupy movement

On Veterans day, a greatfull nation Thanks You, Michael McCarthy for your service in Afghanistan.

A young, articulate Afghan war veteran explains on the Mayor Vincent "Buddy" Cianci TV show today, "On The Record" in Providence, RI, his disappointment in what he sees in America after returning from the war in Afghanistan.
Michael has joined the Occupied Providence movement, so that his generation can make a change for the future of this country.
A medic in the war in Afghanistan, Michael saw horrors in Afghanistan, on his return to America, he sees a nation that no longer works for the 99%.

The O Party needs to start a PAC (Political Action Committee) to send McCarthy to congress

I thought when I heard him first (and have told him) that he should be in Congress. An excellent and credible Occupy spokesperson!!!!!

It's Camolot time. I see a young Jack Kennedy. Seriously. He could run on the O Party. I don't know if he wants to get into politics, he almost seems like more of a spiritual leader- He is extraordinary. I could tell that Buddy was taken aback- He needs to get on National TV- it's only a matter of time. slow and steady wins the race.

That'd be awesome laurel, perhaps you could do the VP thang, but, to my knowledge, Mike's smart enough to not go there. Still, it does make you want for someone like Mike McC to lead us back on track ––to the promised land. Or else to the America I grew up w/ 30-40 years ago, not the Banana Republic it's become & by this I don't mean the stupid clothing offshoot from the Gap megacorp.

I think Michael should run for President as the Third Party Candidate. Great poise, insight, EXTREMELY TELEGETIC!!!- I mean, not easy in that hard light- not easy to upstage our Buddy, but he did it.! Very impressive!
