His version of "That's Alright" is ok musically... I agree with Jerry Lieber (of Lieber & Stoller), though, in that Elvis' versions of RnB songs are DEFINITELY not "better"... just more accessibly commercial.
Elvis was talented, he just had no control over his career.
Great version! However, without Elvis this song would still be unknown. Credit where credit is true. Curtis Stigers' voice sounds so much like Ray Charles!
