@tallliza no, that verse does not state conditions. you're correct that Jesus said many times, 'ask in my name and you will receive', or more simply, 'ask and you will receive.' but who am i to pray against the will of my God, the creator of all. how are we to know? you have to consider the vanity of the things you ask for, not saying that those lives where vain, but God works all things to His good. the basis you've been using is that we never got peace, but as well as my God lives,...

My interpretation? I cited that entire paragraph to Disciples Study Bible. Do I believe it though? Yes.
I actually almost cited Wikipedia, but of course we have been taught in school that wikipedia is not a reliable source.
By the way, spell check can do wonders.

@mrmongo90 Thatis YOUR intrepretation, because it fir nicely into what your believe. Because you can`t admit that Jesus promises are empty words. So. you have to come up with some reason why prayers are not heard.
