I remember them being 9p, and I'm 38! Probably around 1980.

This is the only chocolate bar that is at an good price. I'm fed up with prices nowadays; Mars, Dairy Milk, Snickers, Galaxy etc in the mid 90's was well under 30p and the King Size was roughly under 50p, depending which part of the UK you lived. Now it's 70p for a bar of Dairy Milk, and they've downsized! Minstrels & Malteasers have less in the pack! Wish these greedy corporations would stop ripping us off. They're like school bullies wanting to nick your sweets off you at break time!

@Potionette81 They were 15p for as long as I can remember them (I'm 24 now), right up until about 2009/10; then they went to 17p, which I thought was strange, as it was such an inconvenient price. Now they are 20p.
Judging by the cars and hairstyles in the advert, the price has only doubled in 30 years, so it's not too bad.

When I was a kid, right around the time fire was discovered, these things were only a quarter in America, but I never knew anything about "peppery", must be a dialect barrier happening there.

Only 10p??? Blimey, thesedays it would probably be a pound!
