Often, the denial of woman's human rights is based on religious law. Traditionally, only a Jewish man can initiate divorce proceedings. Hence an agunah is a woman whose husband has refused her a divorce. She is unable to remarry, though he is permitted to, and any future children she had would be considered mamzerim (a legal category of persons who may not marry except among themselves).
I have done this project long time ago and there is so much to learn about this subjects. this promo was made to seek support to finish the work but life some times takes y for unexpected rides and never able to continue the work. Finally I decide to post this here so at list it can be use as food for thought. One day I might pick it up again.
