11th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament

The morning sky was slightly overcast, but it turned out to be a beautiful day at Hemlock Springs Golf Club for United Way of Greater Cleveland's 11th Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament on September 29, 2008. The tournament, presented by the Cleveland Browns and Continental Airlines and hosted by Hemlock Springs, raised $123,000, benefiting United Way's campaign. The title sponsor was Eaton Corporation and the supporting sponsor was Unum.

Celebrity players at the event included Browns alumni Reggie Rucker, Kevin Mack, Frank Stams, Ernie Kellerman, Jim Houston and other pro football greats. After 18 holes at the championship-layout Hemlock Springs Golf Club in Geneva, tournament participants enjoyed dinner plus live and silent auctions at nearby Ferrante Winery & Ristorante.
