Huge Weapons Arsenal Seized in Mexico

Mexican authorities found a large number of weapons in a residential area in Mexico. Authorities received a tip from an anonymous call and they believe the weapons could be linked to the illegal drug trade.




Mexican soldiers seized a huge weapons arsenal on Wednesday in a wealthy residential area in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The seizure included rifles, guns, rocket launchers, grenades, as well as drugs, communications equipment and a vehicle.

The army found the arsenal after they went to inspect a safe house in the upscale residential area of Zapopan after receiving an anonymous call.

In July this year, Mexican soldiers killed drug boss Ignacio "Nacho" Coronel, a senior member of the powerful Sinaloa cartel, in this area.

Coronel was known as the "King of Ice" for his multimillion-dollar methamphetamine business.

More than 29,000 people have died in drug-related violence across Mexico over the past three years.

Sorry I thought a rifle was a gun. Common sense tip. If you have never been convicted of a felony you will pass a background check. It's not a soothsayer to say that you will never commit a felony.
