360 rapidfire / spitfire Controller

real quick vid I made to show my rapid fire in my 360 controller, its using an open source program that is programmed to a 12f683 microchip. there is a button on the back for the rapidfire, and the speed is adjusted by tapping the wireless connection button on top(holding it still syncs)

i did it more to see if i could build the programmer and everything... but its cool that you can pick up cheap chips

my programer does not work when i test the hardware it just says hardware is not responding and i know it works because i tried to copy the code off a chip i bought off ebay and it read it fine but when i try to write it just rights the whole hex code as 0000 0000 0000 0000 ....etc.

please help

the only thing i can think of is make sure the port is set right and all your connections are solid... i am very sorry for the late reply... i didnt see it and just noticed it from this other comment on the vid

where can i get hold of these chips ic ant find them on the net i know how make the mod just need chip

unprogrammed you can get them free from sample.microchip.C O M... you need a 12f683 chip, but you will need a programmer to program it(that's what i did) or try ebay for a preprogrammed chip. btw.. nice username... dodd's my last name :D

ya, i know, i have seen people calling it spit fire though and figured I would put it in their in case that is what they are searching for.
