Although I would have had search and rescue in mind, even recoverying bodies for the sake of closure for the families.

I heard about this accident about a year ago. Here is 50+ years afterwards (it happened 20 years before I was born) and it tugged at my heart, even with all the horrible things that happend since then. Being I am a parent myself, still, I couldn't image what it would must have been like for those families and the survivors afterwards. I think had I been around when it happened, I would have volunteered to help seach for the victims.

I remember a song about this, I believe by a gentleman named Ralph Bowman, entitled "The Tragedy of Bus 27" recorded not long after this tragic event. I have a copy.
