wow you made a difference I am currently going to Hollywood High and it has become an excellent school thanks to the SAS program which brought the test scores up! It is now safe to go walking around hollywood because it is a metropolitan area.

No, he ended up teaching in the slums of Cairo Egypt, founding an NGO called Solar CITIES that does green collar job training, helping the poor help themselves to the abundant energy provided by the sun. Wish he had been your teacher though, as you would have then lived the lyrics of the Obscura song "Exit Life". Seriously, you would only be killing yourself...

This is an awesome show, & this segment is great! I wasn't at risk, but I'd have wanted him to teach me to. I love this, remember watching this show back in the day!

Thanks Janepak, that is very kind of you to say so! After 10 years trying to 'save our streets' in South Central L.A., with September 11 and the war in Iraq weighing on my conscience, I moved to Cairo, Egypt, where, for the past 4 years, I have been using my teaching techniques in the ghettoes and slums of this troubled Arab nation. In particular, my wife and I have founded Solar CITIES to train poor Egyptian youth to build solar energy systems. Thanks again for your comment!
