This lesson is for experienced and beginning players who know how to read notes, and find middle C. :)

I learned this technique from a teacher a couple of years ago, and it helps improve accuracy and playing in general.

The order of notes are: GECEGEAE x2 GDBDGDAD x2 GDBbDGDAD x2 FCACFCGC x2 FCAbCFCFC x2 EBGBEBFB x2 DBGBGBEB x2 CGCDCGCDC x2

If anyone is confused please msg me or comment so that i can fix it. Enjoy.

Sorry about the quality, my Windows is screwed up. ^_^

  • Which volume of exercises do you take this from??

  • N/A sorry, this exercise was given to me, by my teacher 4 years ago. I dunno where he got it from.

  • Not good, almost useless. This is old fashion approach to piano playing.

  • Notice you're using the weight of your entire arm to press a note. It's tiring. As you speed up, you'll realize you can't play like that. Once you speed up, the only possible way to play that quickly is to transfer the motion more to your fingers, which is what you're NOT training yourself to do in this video.

  • thx man.........!!!

  • Nice exercise!

  • The pianist of this video seemed to think such an exercise did her good, so who are you bozos to contradict her? If you want more advanced lessons, go look for them or pay a teacher to give them to you.

  • @baileal no Hanon actually WORKS!! this is absolute tosh! this person obviously had a crap teacher lol you might as well play three blind mice for all the good this does!

  • @baileal no Hanon actually WORKS!! this is absolute tosh!

  • Just play an etude. These finger exercise things are mostly useless.

  • Looks like a good fingertraining, do left and right hand play the same notes at the same time?

  • Thought some times, old fashioned way can be the best :) (Ps: im not saying that this IS the best way but yeahh lol...)

For people who actually can read notes, and arent really begginers but want to secure accuracy and speed, i think the best way would be:

Czerny. (try School of velocity? {sry dunno if its called like that i have the book in french ^^") but yes it will deffinatly improve ur skills! (Ive been playing it since ive started in my academy!)

    Good Luck to all! :)
