A Perfect Beagle Howl

Princess...yet again...howls to the cell phone, demonstrating her perfect howling technique.

It is with great sadness, at this million view milestone, that I tell all of you that Princess left this world on January 2, 2012. Three years ago, she had a cancerous adrenal tumor removed. For the next three years, she pursued life as stubbornly as a beagle should and lived a very happy and full life. You would never have known she had such an awful disease. Unfortunately, in the end, the cancer returned and her end came quickly. She suffered very little.

I considered taking this video down, but she brings joy to so many people and, at least, this way, her sweet howl can live on forever. RIP, Princess. We miss you so much.

Beagles rule. My lemon beagle is almost 15 years old. He's no longer really a dog - just a retired pensioner and has no animal instincts left. If you broke into my house, he would lead you to the family silver and lick you as you carry it out. He's my baby.

Perfect howl and beautiful princess. Hard for me to imagine dogs even getting ill like that. They always look so healthy.
