Ok, so you are stupid enough not to understand what I wrote. He WON 2003 seasons last race at Texas and then retired. He finished second in championship to the great Scott Dixon, shit.

you mean where he broke his back 2 times and was forced to retire in the prime of his career....yeah ok um no. His best years were in CART where he was a top contender with Walker then back to back champ with Penske.

The similarity between Gil de Ferran and Ayrton Senna is that they championships with Marlboro sponsorship and Honda power. Just wanted to note that.

Defferran won the last race he entered too. Texas 2003.

Gil won back-to-back CART Championships when it was still the creme de la creme title in US open wheel racing. His IRL years were also strong, but he was arguably the best IndyCar/Championship Car racer in America at the time; CART or IRL.
He was only the 3rd driver to retire with a win, following Ray Harroun and Sam Hanks, and then followed by Dario Franchitti and Sebastien Bourdais.
