David Crowder playing a modified Guitar Hero guitar

David Crowder modified a Guitar Hero guitar to actually play sounds! So each button does a different sound when he strums, and he also added two other buttons (though you cant see in this video) that make sounds from Mario :)

he's wired the game's guitar controller and made it into a midi controller... pretty awesome.

it basically works like a keyboard does. the buttons trigger a synth sound. different buttons for different pitches and loops. he's got the basic cord progression for the song programmed.

that is a sweet guitar! its the old rhthym guitarist though, the new guys is awesome, but he doesnt use rickenbackers, he uses a lot of PRS
