Anti-climactic closing of lights in Toronto for Earth Hour!

So the countdown had begun for the closing of Toronto's lights and I was focusing on the BMO building that had lots of lights - only to be very let down!!
(note: it turned off about 5 minutes later! lol!)

It's really stupid to have this closing light event. To turn your AC 1 degree lower in winter, 1 degree higher in summer can save much more energy. Turn the light off and turn it back at the same time actually causing the power go straight up.

You should've kept your camera going as the lights went out a few seconds later! Lol. The shut-down isn't automatic and takes a few seconds. x
