Great video. I have been having trouble with momentum in my physics class for a while, but after watching this, i finally understood it.
I ended up getting an A on our momentum test.
Thanks for this video, it really helped a lot!

@FlooGooPoo Thanks for taking the time to let us know. We don't get to hear about the results so it's nice to get his comment

sorry great video but i don't understand how you get (5v)^2=7.2^2+8^2-2(7.2)(8)cos30

@wenlinhan1 Once you have the triangle, you want to solve for 5v. You can use cosine law to solve for it. Cosine law is a^2 = b^2 + c^2 -2bcCosA. For this triangle a = the 5V side, b = 7.2, c=8 and A = 30degrees.
Another way to solve this is to rearrange the line above that to 5v[E@S]= 8[E] - 7.2[E30N] now change the (-) to (+) by reversing the direction so that 5v[E@S]= 8[E] + 7.2[W30S] then add up the vectors on the right side of this. You will have 5v[E@S]= some #. Solve for v and direction
