the american tv shows have a lot better production than the british shows, they spend millions of dollars on several series of shows while the british shows spend only a small portion of money on a few series of shows but, the british shows have better writers and scripts than the american shows. Its like quantity over quality and in a tug of war like that quantity is the winner becuase for every good show britian puts out it is outnumbered by the production quality of the american shows.

I only watch BGT or X factor when they first audition people, after that it gets boring. Doctor Who. My favourite shows are Mock the Week, Have I got News for You and most British sitcoms.

omfg! i never knew pop idol and xfactor were the same thing,well i must of been onlut like 4 or 5 when it started so i cant remember,but i always thought that x factor and pop idol were 2 different programs :o

Hey Jordan. You wouldn't believe how big Coronation Street is here in Canada. It airs every weekday on the CBC.
I'm not much of a fan myself. I prefer comedy programs like Blackadder, Father Ted, Ab Fab, Keeping Up Appearances and classics like The Prisoner.

Today's episode synopsis here in Canada is "Maria is drawn closer to Tony; Dev is upset when Tara turns down work; the Barlow men are in crisis." I'm guessing it's episode number 7040 because episode 7038 can be found online on the CBC web site.
