Try not to watch this with too much of a jealous attitude. Billy Allen and Harry Warren are in Key West, the sport fishing capital of the world, catching tarpon.

  • i live in the keys... nice video, but the tackle you're using is WAY too heavy... go with some lighter spinning outfits and make it more of a challenge... if you gotta go chase a larger fish down, then you gotta go chase it down... makes all for a more exciting and challenging fight.

  • Not sure how easy it would be to get a tarpon to the side of the boat with lighter tackle. Billy has been to the Keys many times and is a very experienced match angler in the UK. Match anglers as a breed are quite technical. Billy and the guys he goes with are very experienced fishing in the Keys and the skippers love them coz they don't need to hold their hands all the time. The skippers take them to the fishg and the Brits just do the rest.

  • what species of fish are they catching?

  • They were catching tarpon. They pull your arms off apparently.

  • Munch!!! Why throw the fish back to the water..:)) nice catch..-3

  • Great fish but you most practice your catch and release methods! seen it in other videos by you, Im not sure the fish survives.

  • which fish is this??

  • wheres ur net

  • actually I use a medium to heavy rod with 20lb test and land usually land the tarpon. due to lighter tackle it makes the fish run more and that much more exhausted by the time it reaches the boat. and easier to handle.

  • Munch I see you back there! :)

  • We do it ALL the time here. Lose the anchor and have somebody at the wheel idling into the current so if you have to go chase a fish down, you can. Plus, you do not need to chum to get tarpon to the back of the boat if you know where they hang out in numbers (e.g by many of the bridges here). We've officially caught much larger tarpon than they're catching here with much lighter tackle. I'm not saying that they don't know what they're doing, I'm just saying that you CAN do what I explained.

  • the legendary steve cullen AKA the muncher an his under study roy marlow bagging up in the next boat!!! florida keys p.s take me you slaaaaaaaaaaaag !!!!!
