Kevin from Giro shows off the newest road specific helmet from Giro, the Prolight. Reintroduced this past summer at the Tour de France, the Prolight should become available to consumers early in 2010 for the spring cycling season.
Agreed, although I do think that the prolight was only available in limited numbers. Everything you need is in the Ionos and it's only a matter of time before the features on the prolight trickle down the range anyways.
I'd still take the Ionos. They never said anything about the Prolight to be any cooler than the Ionos. As what they did with the Atmos, and said the Ionos is %15 cooler.
Yeah it's light, but the helmet just doesn't have that "MMMF" in it. It looks like a a Giro Saros. And the Ionos, the Carbon Fiber just gives that luxury quality. As you see in the pro tour, only a few guys still were riding the Ionos rather than the Prolight.
Ok, but I like the helmets that look more like skate helmets like the helmets on this site, Zoobom com

No thank you! I love my Ionos! Other than the plastic shell going all the way to the back, that looks like a $30 helmet.
