i can not think of a single instance in the many examples of human history where in a government disarmed a population that was not followed quickly there after by oppression at the very least and often mass murder of that same population that was shortly before disarmed. I can therefore only assume that any government or man that would seek to in ANY way restrict the rights of the people to bear arms as being a government or man that wishes to oppress or kill the people.

America is all about the dependence of the military upon war hysteria and continual production of false enemies and false pretences for war all over the world. The US military has become a huge sucking machine that eats money and produces nothing but murder, mayhem and destruction. The process is also destroying the entire fabric of American society and culture. This is the end of freedoms and even the facade of democracy. The ruling elite is getting very nervous as the gig is almost up.

This concerns me more. They insist is it to cover their butts should an American be killed in a strike against a terror target overseas, but the potential for abuse is there.
