Lutherans vary so greatly from so liberal to so conservative or ELCA to WELS so..... my question is how many of these were ELCA, Missouri Synod, Wels. Otherwise it is like saying these people are probably of German or Scandinavian descent.
guys ! do you know that there is 4 to 5 countries which are totally lutheran dominant. They are Denmark ,Sweden ,Norway,Namibia and Estonia and there is sizable Lutheran Population in many countries.
So guys ! Are you Proud to be Lutheran ? 'cause I'm Proud.(I 'm from India)
I kinda doubt that all of these "Lutherans" either knew or cared the first thing about Lutheranism. Some did, of course (Bach, clearly), but I have doubts about many of them. I even read one of the "Lutheran Handbooks" bragging about Charles Schultz having a Lutheran background ...but Schultz clearly identified himself as a secular humanist! Face it, Lutherans, your relevance is greatly exaggerated.
We played this song for a group of 7th - 9th grade confirmands, and even though they didn't know half of the names, they thought it was pretty funny. Stupid, but funny. We, adults were nearly rolling on the floor, laughing! :-)

@MrFaithdefender The largest [until now at least] Lutheran body of the world is the Church of Sweden. You missed Iceland by the way.
