My business partner was kicking my ass big time all day and the last overtake made me snap and I NEEDED to catch him to save face. Watch as the story unfolds I've written captions throughout all the action to let you know what I was thinking...
This proves even "boring motorcycle instructors" can have fun (a place and a time) :-) Fastest lap 2 mins 1 second, I need to break 2 mins!

Track riding helps you understand what you and your bike can physically do, road classes teach you to watch out for road problems so BOTH are as important as each other. Don't under estimate the importance of road training. :-)

It was really windy, I only really felt it on the fast straight though (no fairing) I was in group 1, first ever track day but will move up in the Oct 16th one. I saw cams too and been looking for their postings but nothing yet. :-)

you wont. Person following you must take responsibility for overtaking you. That is 1st lesson you are told before entering race track. Because you dont have eyes in your back. 2nd lesson are, you dont have to let anybody to pass. Just ride your ride, if some1 need he will overtake you in straights.

well ive taken both road training classes available, my father is a bike enthusiast (dont live with him, rarely see him) and he told me to do some track days. im just worried about cutting an experienced track person off and causing an accident :S or just making a fool of myself. (im embarrassed easy)
