i love the scirocco..but I have to admit that 170hp for only 233kmh :/

with my 105hp (stock) polo i'm going to 200 very very fast..at 200 it just stops as if it was limited by the eletronics..

170 hp for 233kmh is a waste imo..you should at least reach 250-260..

@loumidis15 Yes, the current TDI is very good, the TDI170 pulls very strong and is fast, but you were comparing (on the Opel Corsa) a turbodiesel versus a naturally aspirated petrol. Turbo Vs NA, which is unfair unless you were comparing the turbo against a very high performance NA engine, like an VTEC Type-R. On a 2.0TDI Vs 2.0TSI, the TDI loses on top speed and on acceleration (but is mrore economical, we know).

@alamos8 My friend, i was comparing those 2 kind of engines because i have a neighbour that haw 2 opel corsa's..one for him (diesel) and one for his wife(petrol) and says that the diesel is faster and economical than the petrol...plus that my opinion of this diesel engine is that this baby rocks :D
