Page 67 was the first track I ever made & was released on Baad Records in August 1987. Evil Eddie Richards made the music & I did the vocals which is why we called ourselves Myster-E, the Mr from my name & the E from Ed's. This project came about after I became resident rapper at the Camden Palace which is why Eddie invited me into the studio. If I'd done a rap instead of a spoken world vocal it would've been the first hip house record ever released. Oh well. After making this track I knew I wanted to start making music as well as doing vocals which is one of the reasons I became a DJ to learn more about how tunes should sound & arrangements. The vocal is about the benefits of meditation & positive thinking & I still believe in this stuff today although my thinking has evolved a little since then.
I've just done an updated version of this vocal for my forthcoming album Smell The Coffee & the track will be called Synchronicity.
I hope you enjoy Page 67. xx Mr.C

  • Unbelievable, been looking for "page67" since you've released it...heard it once on an alternative radiostation back then. I'm from Belgium and I think they only send one record in that time... unfortunately I didn't get it!

Tried to find it in digital format the last 10 years....no luck. Can't you put on itunes or something...
