  • I Love duran duran.

  • To me it sounded like Andy was just joking around but the others..especially Simon took it too damn seriously.....When I was 18 back in 83, my friends and I always loved Duran Duran....however Andy was never anyone's favorite...in retrospect looking at Andy....he was da Man in my opinion...the most real and honest....Nick also ..always the gentleman! Roger, the shy one! Hard to tell what he was like back in the day....Oh..hell...they were all cool! LOL!

  • When I saw them perform on the Astronaut tour, Andy's guitar playing was so loud you couldn't even hear Simon sing. A couple times Simon looked in Andy's direction in disgust. Interesting to read all these Simon vs. Andy comments, but really, wouldnt we all REALLY like to know since it's all speculation outside the band of brother's circle.

  • I wish Andy was still in the band! I really enjoyed the original five getting back together, even if it was only a temporary thing with Andy!

  • Andy leaving had nothing to do with Simon, why must he be blamed for everything, after all their were 5 egos in the band. Simon always has to be the scape goat for some reason.

  • Sure blame Simon, Andy left because of poor management.

  • Looking at this clip again, Simon, you are a horses ass, the fuckin guy is only joking man, lighten up! Duran only reunited long enough just to get popular again, then they knew Andy would leave, Im sure of that.

  • Spada444..I agree with you there...being a duran fan since 1983...i felt they started writing "grown up" songs from notorious onward....The evergreen classic ordinary world was 8 years after andy...I am not saying Lebon is an easy guy to work with..never met him..don't know him..just commenting as a song writer and duran fan...

  • I'm sure Andy didn't mean it the way it came out, he always tries to make light of the situations that happened in the past.

i wish Andy would come back, Duran ain't the same without him ;(

  • The Insider: Are you all good friends?

Simon: When the cameras are on (laughter).
