Till Death Us Do Part - Cleaning Up TV (1967) pt.1

First broadcast 27 February 1967, in this classic episode Johnny Speight found the perfect way to get revenge on Mary Whitehouse and her constant war against the show by having Alf Garnett show himself to be one of her strongest supporters. This 20 minute edit is all that survives. Part two to follow.

It came into circulation among collectors about 15 years ago, possibly directly from producer Dennis Main Wilson. Hopefully Network will eventually release a DVD of all the surviving b&w footage, especially as 2 more episodes were recently recovered.
